I’m sitting in my room at Imperial College in South Kensigton, a stone’s throw from the Royal Albert Hall and there is absolutely not a cat to be seen anywhere. Luckily I always have a spare feline photograph about my person, so here is a lovely picture of Willow making my bed his own last Sunday morning. Lovely boy.

Encouraged by yesterday’s recording of Rosie snoring, I’ve managed today to capture the sound of Willow’s miaow. We’ve had Siamese for years and are used to their loud and expressive wowling. Willow came as a surprise; he has a quiet and almost ‘broken’ miaow. It’s very cute but he doesn’t do it often. Now I can listen to him whenever I want.

Sometimes Isobel comes and asks to borrow my camera. She did so at some point last week and I’ve just discovered this charming close-up portrait of Willow. Well done Izzy, a great photo! Sent using BlackBerry® from Orange
