There is a Marks & Spencer bag full of plastic bags on the table. Willow doesn’t realise he looks silly. For a cat, dignity is everything, so when they get it wrong, it’s all the more amusing.

Cosmo and Willow sharing the back of an armchair this evening,
My beastly children locked themselves in the bathroom with Willow, who didn’t want to be there. He looks unhappy in his photograph and you can listen to his pitiful (very un-Siamese) miaows too, if you want.
It’s always a worry, trying to integrate a new cat or cats into a household. It takes time, but I think this photograph really shows that first Malteser (rescued Easter 2010) and then Willow and Rosie (adopted December 2010) have really settled in. John and I are even thinking that a new kitten is just what they all need to keep them all young and lively.
The birds are gathering ready to migrate. We also have a number of juvenile seagulls around our neighbourhood at the moment. For a couple of days now, Willow and Cosmo have been sitting on the landing windowsill in the early morning, watching and doing their best impressions of tweeting birds.
If you’ve never heard it, you might not believe me that cats will ‘chatter’ and make other odd noises while watching birds. I am trying to get a sound recording and if I can, I will prove it to you some time soon.
Rosie (right) snuggling lovingly up to Willow. They have made good friends with Cosmo and Malteser, who were already here, but they aways go back to each other in the end.

Willow. That’s all.

Didn’t have a picture ready, so I asked John to go on a photo-reportage quest and he returned with this. Apparently he was clicking the fingers of his left hand and they were fascinated. Blurry though. We are trying for a higher standard on this blog, you know.
How dare Willow sit on my MacBook?
Bad cat.
Another unhygienic picture of cats on the bed. I’m sure it’s quite repellent if you are a good house-keeper or a dog-lover. Sent using BlackBerry?? from Orange
