It’s Isobel’s birthday and she’s 12!! She was delighted that it was a non-uniform day at school to raise money for Children in Need. The card she is holding was made by her new friend Ffion and must have taken ages to make; so kind and thoughtful. Only problem is how miserable Cosmo looks!

On Sunday, I brought you a picture of Frank the cat using Twitter. As a matter of pride, I feel that I have to point out that my own cat Cosmo is also familiar with social networking. This photograph from August 2009 shows him helping me to use Twitter.

Cats like to help people do things. In the morning, Cosmo is at his most friendly and he really enjoys helping me get ready. I have explained several times that I can do it by myself, but he insists.

It’s always a worry, trying to integrate a new cat or cats into a household. It takes time, but I think this photograph really shows that first Malteser (rescued Easter 2010) and then Willow and Rosie (adopted December 2010) have really settled in. John and I are even thinking that a new kitten is just what they all need to keep them all young and lively.
