An old picture from the archives. Rather sad; Malteser and Cosmo (furthest from the camera) have both died. Nearer to us are Florence and Willow.

Teddy and I saying a last, painful goodbye to Malteser. The vet’s appointment is at 6:30pm and Malty won’t be coming home. Many, many tears. It’s been a really tough January.

Finally, after two weeks, all four cats nesting together. Florence has officially settled in.
I am worried about Malteser. I suspect his days are numbered; he’s eating and drinking, but is weak and wobbly. A difficult winter this year.

All three of our resident cats have now accepted Florence the kitten. You see me here trapped under her and Malteser and therefore unable to go to bed, because I was so pleased I didn’t want to disturb them.
