I have been working all weekend and I don’t think I have done half of what there is to do. I’m sure I’m going wrong somewhere. Earlier, in order to cheer me up, my friend Alex sent me this picture of his daft cat Skimbleshanks determinedly squashing himself into a shoebox. It worked Alex, thank you!

We saw a lot of Alex’s lovely ginger boy Skimbleshanks last year. Here is a picture of him from yesterday morning, when he was playing hot-water bottle and helping Alex get over his half-term lurgy.

Time for another Skimbleshanks photograph. Here we see him helping Alex with his work in the garden. Cats can assist with many tasks; school work, knitting, sewing, cooking and gardening, to name just a few.
