A Cat A Day: 26/365

January 26, 2011 by Fiona Joyce

A friend suggested that I dress the cats up now and then to add spice to my Cat A Day pictures. Here is a picture of Malteser last summer posing as a tough LA gangsta cat. He looks mean, but is actually bored and irritated. Nice of him to put up with us, I thought.

Poorly Teddy and I are stuck at home today. Malteser has to be in on the cuddles.

I’m lying on my bed feeling awful. Pushkin and Malteser have perched on the side of my ribcage and are snuggling me and purring comfortingly. This is why I love cats.

The Cat’s Miaow

An extra offering today:

Malteser was shouting at me at lunchtime, so I grabbed my Flip camera and captured his wonderful miaow. The distinctive, emphatic way Siamese talk is one of the reasons I love them.

Can you spot the antique 1970’s aftershave in the background?

A Cat A Day: 3/365

January 3, 2011 by Fiona Joyce

Here’s Malteser chewing the artificial Christmas tree for the last time before we take it down. It’s got to be bad for his digestion, but he never shows any signs of distress.
