Cosmo with silver paint on his nose. I spent days painting a silver paint pattern on our bedroom wall and he helped out, as any good cat obviously would.

We have been renovating our house for almost two years and it’s been a long, expensive haul. We run out of money/energy from time to time. But this week has seen some progress. We’ve bought lots of Billy and Benno bookcases and CD storage towers from Ikea (15 of them) and have toiled away in the warmth to build them.

Naturally, they then have to be checked for structural integrity by all resident felines. Cosmo seems to have approved….

Another quickie after a long day: a daft experimental picture of Cosmo, taken when we had just acquired our first webcam and were having fun with the special effects.

Yesterday was Teddy’s 10th birthday and we had a party for 8 of his friends. This photograph shows him tired and happy, with pink rosy cheeks just before bedtime. Cosmo is his favourite cat and Ted calls him ‘The King’.
