Another murder! This time, I caught the killer red-pawed. Willow has murdered a NintenDog by drowning it in the catfood dish and then ripping all its guts out and spreading them round the house. When he flings the body around, the chip in its ear moans pathetically. Gruesome indeed.
And we still don’t have a carpet on the landing.
Teddy took today’s photograph. It’s a festival of sleepy lilac, lilac-tabby and caramel Siamese-ness.

Three cats cuddling up. These three have never been seen sharing a basket before.
Sent using BlackBerry?? from OrangeThe vet we saw today told us that Malteser is improving on his steroids and anti-biotics. But he needs to take them for another week. Malteser won’t mind because it means we’ll have to give him lots more freshly cooked treats with the tablets hidden inside.
Plus… the vet is Spanish, from Las Islas Canarias. We said ¡Hasta Luego y gracias! at the end.
Teddy only realised he liked the cats a few months ago, so he hasn’t had much practice at picking them up. This picture from late last year shows Ted struggling to hold Cosmo, who is rather large and heavy. Luckily Cosmo is very patient too, so there are never any injuries, no matter how clumsy Ted may be.
This splendid creature is Bridget who belongs to Helen Daykin.She’s pictured here supervising the snow. Helen tells me that Bridget is a one-woman-cat and if anyone else tries to stroke or cuddle her, she gets busy with her claws. Indeed, I gather the vet dons falconry gloves when she visits him. A formidable cat indeed.
Winston who we met on 25th January, also lives chez Helen.
Gorgeous Willow and Cosmo have bonded as only naughty boy cats can. Lots of play fighting and bum sniffing, I’m afraid.
Malteser has been sneezing lately, so we took him to the vet today. He howled the whole time he was in his carry box, but as soon as he saw the vet he calmed down instantly and started acting as if he was in a cat show. Magic vet’s touch…
He’s fit and healthy (although a little thin), but the vet thinks he’s allergic to something. Isobel and I have been speculating that he may be allergic to our new cats, Rosie and Willow.
