A Cat A Day: 61/365

The vet we saw today told us that Malteser is improving on his steroids and anti-biotics. But he needs to take them for another week. Malteser won’t mind because it means we’ll have to give him lots more freshly cooked treats with the tablets hidden inside.

Plus… the vet is Spanish, from Las Islas Canarias. We said ¡Hasta Luego y gracias! at the end.

Malteser has been sneezing lately, so we took him to the vet today. He howled the whole time he was in his carry box, but as soon as he saw the vet he calmed down instantly and started acting as if he was in a cat show. Magic vet’s touch…
He’s fit and healthy (although a little thin), but the vet thinks he’s allergic to something. Isobel and I have been speculating that he may be allergic to our new cats, Rosie and Willow. Anyway, we have to give him 4 tablets a day for five days. If you’ve never needed to do it, here are instructions on How To Give A Pill To A Cat
