A Cat A Day: 140/365

Our cat Malteser is a rescue cat. As yesterday’s picture demonstrates, he has a habit of trying to sleep on people’s heads. He used to belong to an old lady who developed asthma; when Malty sat on her head, it got worse.

So… the old lady took him to the vet and asked for him to be put to sleep.

Really.

The vet refused and contacted Siamese Rescue in Sheffield, which is where we found him last year. This handsome Bengal belonged to Pauline, who finds new homes for all kinds of cats, not just Siamese.

Le chat d’aujourd’hui s’appelle Platon. Malheureusement, Platon a récemment disparu.

Adieu Platon.

On Eurovision night, I need to ramp up the excitement…

Here is SKIMBLESHANKS!!!! How totally adorable is this kitten who will shortly come to live with Alex Bellars??? I have threatened to eat her because of the irresistable cuteness, but Alex became seriously alarmed and disturbed.

I hereby withdraw all threats.
