It’s all about Milka for the time being. He jammed himself under my arm for a cat nap yesterday evening. I’m so happy he’s a cuddle cat.

The children and I went back to school today and we’re all tired this evening. It was also Milka’s first day on his own with the adult cats Willow and Florence. I was a bit worried, because Florence walloped Milka twice with her paw yesterday; I’ve never seen her so aggressive. I guess that they are still establishing a hierarchy. All was fine, of course! Today’s picture shows little Milka asleep on John’s lap after a demanding and successful day standing up for himself.

Florence last summer before she became so shy she hid from us all the time. Pleasingly, she is gradually getting braver again lately. I like this pretty picture because it not only shows how gorgeous Florence is, but also makes me feel proud, because I made the quilt she is lying on.

In other news, Milka did his 3rd illegal wee today; this one was on the coffee table ?!? Yeuch again. Disgusting baby.

When we went on holiday to Britanny in the summer, we made friends with the campsite kitten. Being nitwits, we even bought cat food for it while we were there. I bet several other people did too. I wonder how she has been managing over the winter?
