On the 3rd March I had the first of two very important days at work. Cosmo was well-aware of this and gave me his support by getting fur all over the outfit I had laid out to wear. How very feline.

Alex and Catherine Bellars’ cat Aeryn is a rescue cat and is taking a while to settle down. Here you see her bravely venturing outside for the first time. Isn’t she sweet?

The lovely Jo Pickering has sent me a picture of a cat she used to have, called Zizi. If you speak French, giggle now. If you don’t – look it up and then giggle.
Like most cats, Zizi clearly adored a chin scratch … Sent using BlackBerry?? from OrangeA Cat A Day: 69/365
There is a shaft of sunlight which comes in the kitchen around 4pm. The late lamented Hershey used to follow the warmth of the sun wherever he could, even if it was shining on a clean frying pan. I promise we washed it before we used it again.

Malteser has been declared officially better. He continued to be very polite to the vet, but let out some hair-raising shrieks in the car on the way there and back. Have a listen and see if your own cat responds to the noises Teaser made.

We tried to take Rosie for a walk on a lead last weekend. I have owned Siamese who liked it. But in all honesty, she wasn’t that keen. Perhaps she could smell a dog …

My much beloved Hershey who loved to ride around the house on my shoulders like a furry scarf. On this occasion, he stayed put even after I put a sweatshirt on. What a daft cat he was and how I miss him.

Another murder! This time, I caught the killer red-pawed. Willow has murdered a NintenDog by drowning it in the catfood dish and then ripping all its guts out and spreading them round the house. When he flings the body around, the chip in its ear moans pathetically. Gruesome indeed.
And we still don’t have a carpet on the landing.
