Sometimes I’m amazed how good the camera on my iPhone is.
I have arranged today for Rosa to come to live with us next weekend. We’re so excited and feel totally chuffed that Jo thinks we can offer a good retirement home for her. Pics soon.

I have retired early to bed because I (like many other UK teachers) have been awake since very early worrying about my Y11’s. In my case, I woke at 4:30am, rose about 5:15am and got some preparing and organising done.
I digress. When I reached my bed, I found Milka hiding under the duvet, waiting to attack me. The picture is dark, but that’s how it is under the bedclothes.
Good night all.
I’m proud of myself for surviving the first day of term. It’s always super-tiring when one gets back to the hurly-burly, but I have been under the weather for two or three months and I’m really feeling it. I’m a grumbling wimp.
Milka, on the other hand, is brimming with heath and energy. We took him for his three-day check-up after being neutered on Friday and he is already almost healed. As you can see, he wasn’t too keen to have his bum examined and climbed on me to escape.
On the way home, Milka was so ticked off that he hid underneath the cushion in his basket.
