A Cat A Day: 171/365
It’s been a challenge trying to get online to post this picture of a tiger at Cologne zoo today. Absolutely worn out after walking about 4 miles in the pouring rain. But I’m really impressed with how our pupils have stayed cheerful throughout.
I’m proud to say that I still haven’t missed a single day of my 365 Challenge since the 1st of January.Sent using BlackBerry?? from Orange

I’m on my way to Cologne, leading the annual school trip of Y7 students. Today’s cat was sent to me by my great colleague Sarah McCarthy who is also along on the visit.
The cat belongs to Sarah’s next door neighbour. Apparently, if Sarah opens her kitchen window, the cat jumps in and dashes round the house. Sent using BlackBerry?? from OrangeA Cat A Day: 169/365

My friend and colleague Jonathan l’Hoiry told me today that his lovely cat Ellie died last week. She was 16 and had moved with Jonathan each time he’s changed home and was devoted to him.
We each admitted that we feel more sad than seems possible when a much-loved pet dies. It’s a tough time.

Cosmo is always so pleased to greet me when I get up. While I’m washing and brushing my teeth, he often parades round the bath miaowing loudly. Sent using BlackBerry® from Orange

Today I bring you another of Jonathan l’Hoiry’s cats; Kaya. I wonder if she stays in the shower after someone turns it on?
