There has been a bit of cat strife round here lately. Rosie (pictured) and Cosmo have both lost a patch of fur near their whiskers. With no witnesses, we can’t say if they hurt each other, Willow hurt them both or another permutation. All is fine and calm now.

This is how cats look when they are sick to the back teeth. Rosie and Willow are tired of the decorating upheaval and found a duvet to hide under. But I tracked them down . . .

John took today’s picture on his BlackBerry Curve and it has a rubbish camera. However, I still really like this picture of daft Willow trying to warm his paws by sitting on the laptop keyboard. He’s lucky he didn’t try to sit on the MacBook . . .

We are decorating again. The house is consequently upside down and the cats hate it. Willow and Cosmo hid among a pile of curtains on our bed today. If you look hard, you will see a little spot of white paint on Cosmo’s nose, a result of his feline curiosity.

Susie Arnott’s cat is called Minou and we first met her on 20th April. Minou appears to have discovered that the clean laundry basket is cat-sized and is making herself very much at home.

This is James Bancroft’s cat Gizmo looking rather magnificent and leonine. I wonder if he’s warming himself on that car bonnet. James tells me that:
Gizmo lives life to the max, sleeping as much as he can, exploring the neighbours’ gardens and terrorising our house – nothing is safe! He loves affection and his favourite biscuits. We love him!
