We saw a lot of Alex’s lovely ginger boy Skimbleshanks last year. Here is a picture of him from yesterday morning, when he was playing hot-water bottle and helping Alex get over his half-term lurgy.
Hope you’re feeling a little better today, Alex.

Climbing the shelves to retrieve her red crinkly toy mouse, Florence was later to be disappointed when John threw it over the back and lost it forever.
Luckily we bought a pack of 9 meeces and she now has a yellow one to play with.

Flossie with her chin sinking down into her fur as she falls asleep. Her ginger ears are just ridiculous in this picture, aren’t they?

We need to teach Florence that it’s bad for her eyes to sit so close to the television. Perhaps she just likes Ewan McGregor.

Isobel took this beautiful picture of Willow this morning.
We are ultra-sensitive to the cats’ health at the moment and John has noticed that Willow doesn’t come to him and miaow for food quite as much as usual. I think he’s imagining it, but we’re taking him for a quick vet visit next week anyway, because we need peace of mind after our awful January.Sent from my iPhone
Florence has discovered how fun it is to hide and play under the bedclothes. Unfortunately, she also likes attacking anyone else under there and has left lots of tiny painful scratches on my right calf. Poor old me.
